James Rouse, former headteacher of St Anne’s Catholic and sixth form school now charged with sexual offences

48 year old James Edwin Rouse from Southampton will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on 13th January 2025 and has been charged with an abuse of position of trust involving sexual activity with a child.  Hampshire Police have set up a specialist task force called Operation Stonecrop to look into allegations of historic sexual abuse by prominent individuals at St Anne’s Catholic school.  Four other teachers remain under investigation.
