Radio DJ Neil Fox cleared by Westminster Magistrates

Neil Fox, who denied eight indecent assaults and two sexual assaults against women and girls between 1988 and 2014 was today found not guilty of all charges.  The chief magistrate Howard Riddle who heard the case at Westminster Magistrates court said the alleged victims were believable but the bench concluded they "could not be sure that in the context it was a criminal offence".

The popular Magic radio DJ has been off air since his arrest in September 2014 was relieved to be vindicated.  Mr Fox expressed his thanks to his friends, listeners and his family in an emotional speech outside the court.  After the hearing Mr Fox commented, "This case has once again raised concerns about how high-profile cases such as this have been investigated by the CPS but this is not the time or the place to address these matters".

No doubt Mr Fox will be very pleased to be broadcasting again and to be cleared of the allegations.
